Hop into Spring!

Spring is officially in full force, which means it’s finally time to break out of winter hibernation! There’s nothing quite like getting out and enjoying the fresh spring air with your friends and family.

Don’t know where to go or what to do? No worries. We’ve got you covered with 6 of the best events happening in Toronto this season!

#1. Take a walk through the beautiful Cherry Blossoms

Where: High Park

Japanese Cherry Blossoms are a must-see in Toronto during spring. They were actually a gift given by the Japanese Ambassador to Canada in 1959. Now, these breathtaking flowers attract huge crowds of people. Come and enjoy rows after rows of Cherry Blossom trees.

Don’t forget to bring a camera!

#2. Try the newest ice cream trend: rolled ice cream

Where: Arctic Bites

Ever since Toronto’s first Thai inspired ‘ice cream rolls’ shop opened, it’s been a major buzz around the city – it’s just that good! Fresh heavy cream and customizable ingredients are crushed and rolled right in front of your eye, then decorated with delicate toppings… Yum! A perfect spring snack!

#3. Climb the CN Tower

Where: CN Tower

Ever wondered how it would be to climb up the CN Tower? If so, join WWF on April 8th and 9th for the Climb for Nature. If physical activity isn’t your strong suit, you can still come out to support the various species and habitats in Canada that need our help!

Conquer the phenomenal experience of climbing 1,776 stairs up Toronto’s tallest tower for a good cause!

#4. Picture perfect graffiti

Where: Graffiti Alley

Are you an aspiring photographer? Or just someone looking for a cool place to explore? Check out Graffiti Alley, located between Queen and Richmond street. Be taken back by walls filled with amazing graffiti art created by talented artists.

#5. Support the Blue Jays

Where: Rogers Centre

Perhaps one of the most exciting Spring moments is the return of the Toronto Blue Jays to the Rogers Centre. There’s nothing like sipping on an ice-cold brew, supporting our favourite guys in blue! The only thing we’ll wish for is a blue October. The Jays home opener is April 11th against the Milwaukee Brewers. Go Jays go!

#6. Get a head start on updating your spring wardrobe

Where: Eaton Centre

New season calls for a new wardrobe! Re-vamp your closet with the wide array of stores at the Eaton Centre – the largest, most popular mall in Toronto. We’re sure that you will find everything you’re looking for. Be sure to check out some of springs hottest clothing trends which include single cutout shoulder tops, bold stripes, florals and the colour yellow.

Spring in Toronto is an exciting time for the city, and the possibilities are endless!

Happy spring, everyone!

"Our company is very new to social media with no experience or expertise. We initially approached Atlas Communications for out-sourcing our social media needs. As we progressed in our social media plans we decided it would be best to hire in-house. Atlas was flexible and worked with us to customize our needs. They provided ongoing consulting and training for our social media staff and market team. They were extremely patient with our embarrassingly little of knowledge of social media. We are grateful for their help, knowledge, flexibility and supportive attitude. A welcome find in the vast sea of social media blur. "
